Riggers Hockey
Academy
Riggers Hockey Academy (RHA) is a high-end private youth hockey program founded in 2015 and based out of Leduc, AB. RHA has been successfully operating for several seasons and continues to grow. We are not restricted by boundaries and have athletes traveling from many communities to participate in our program including: Leduc, Calmar, Edmonton, Red Deer, Innisfail, Viking, Sherwood Park, Camrose, St. Albert, Devon, Morinville, Whitecourt, Spruce Grove and more. RHA’s program consists of intensive on-ice skill development, off-ice conditioning and team development from our certified and experienced coaching staff. Our goal is to provide a positive and structured experience that helps players reach their full potential, build character and have fun.

Riggers Hockey Academy is a proud member of the Hockey Super League (HSL). Like the HSL, we believe in the European hockey development model that consistent high-level instruction is required over a long period of time in order to reach optimal athletic development. Success should not be measured by short term wins and losses, but rather on individual skill development and athletic growth within a team setting. Additionally, a higher ratio of practice sessions to games is essential to improve the skills and competition performance of our athletes. As a member of the HSL, access to professional skills coaches are mandatory to ensure that all athletes receive the best training and development possible. Along with the HSL, Riggers Hockey Academy is setting a new standard for hockey player development in Canada that results in less player turnover and produces higher-level hockey players.
